We are grateful for all of you and for the incredible learning environment you have brought to life during this exceptional time.

We have always been so grateful to be a part of this warm community you have built and this year just highlights even more strongly just how lucky we are.

Our son is always excited to go to school and to continue to learn and grow under such caring and loving wings.

You all are doing an outstanding job during an extremely challenging time.

Thank you for your continued efforts to keep our kids safe and for the personal risks you face on their behalf.

As teachers I'm sure you didn't expect to be front line workers, but now you are and you have shown yourselves to be a truly courageous group of educators.

We are so grateful to be part of your community.

You guys are amazing!

Truly. I've been keeping in close contact with dozens of my colleagues on their school situations and I don't know of anyone who has handled things as well as you and your team have.

Thank you for the thoughtfulness with which you've approached the planning and communications to parents.

We are grateful for what you are doing for our daughter and her classmates. And you can count on our support as you continue to make adjustments based on what may come.

Thank you!

My son has been at Aquinas for 2 years now, starting at age 3 in the primary class. Our experience has been amazing. We love that he has had the same teacher/class for 2 years and will again next year. The school is warm and welcoming. The Montessori education is excellent - our son has excelled in so many ways - from learning to read, to working on complex math problems at the age of 4, to learning life skills and making friends. We love that he is able to work with other children younger and older than him - helping his younger friends and learning from his older friends. We highly recommend the school to all our friends.

My daughter attends the Aquinas Montessori school. It is truly a gem of a school and we couldn't be happier (and our daughter can't wait to go to school every morning). It is a very special place and I would highly recommend the school!

The school now offers additional extracurricular activities including chess and lego engineering clubs and these are above average programs that engage the children in phenomenal ways. This school takes a hands on organic approach to learning that enables the child to grasp complicated concepts as they grow and mature.

It's a gem of a school--fabulous staff and overall educational program. True Montessori learning, both of our children attend and adore school. We cannot say enough great things about Aquinas. We changed military assignments simply due to this excellent school! Two thumbs up!!

I can't say enough good things about this little school house which has become part of our family.

All my children have attended or currently attend Aquinas. I love the school and would say that it is quite diverse. My DD's class has one girl who speaks three languages (Turkish, Spanish, and English). There is also a couple of boys of Middle Eastern descent, another who is Asian, and another who is Russian. Many of the parents who travel frequently will present to the class artifacts from their trips. In addition to ethnic diversity there is also socioeconomic diversity. It ranges from middle class to very wealthy. The environment is very much like a family and if you choose to go here, I am sure you will be content.

I was very impressed with the experiences my children had at Aquinas. The academic curricula went far beyond what was offered at the local public schools. My children were invested with a strong sense of learning which they still carry today. They are self motivated and have developed superior abilities to focus. The Montessori method of education supported each of their individual learning styles as well as their rates of development. The teachers were well trained with work experience prior to teaching, Bachelors of Arts, Bachelors of Science, Masters of Education and AMI degrees.

I hope my grandchildren reside in this area so that they may take advantage of this wonderful school!

For what it's worth, my son who went to Aquinas through first grade is now in Advanced Academic Program.

The quality of academic programs are great. They teach the kids music, art, and sports... The level of parent involvement is very high. The academic program is great. They teach the kids how to use their hands, mind, intelligence, my son has been going to this school for past two years and he's six and has a second grade reading level and his math level too.

Aquinas Montessori is one of those rare gems that truly does traditional Montessori education. The teachers are highly trained and wonderful with children. One of the advantages of Aquinas Montessori is that each child essentially has their own educational plan based on their needs and academic strengths. I have seen young children 7 years of age doing algebraic equations with variables because the teachers were able to follow the child rather than have all the children working on the same thing. Aquinas in many ways is like an advanced academic program, but also adeptly works to support those children with learning disabilities who need extra repetition. The Montessori curriculum and materials are amazing because their design enables all ages a deeper understanding of all subjects. Children I have seen graduate Aquinas with a love of learning and are thoroughly prepared for the next step into middle school. Many Aquinas graduates go on to Advanced and Gifted programs!

My 4 year old son loves Aquinas Montessori! He has achieved so much in just the semester he has been there, far more than he would in a traditional classroom set up. Every interaction we have had with the staff has been pleasant and helpful. I can't say enough about how positive our experience has been with this school. I always felt like my child was in excellent hands and he was always eager to go to school with wonderful stories at the end of the day.

I enrolled my children at Aquinas when they were 3 years old. They all had such wonderful experiences! Reading at age 3.5! Learning Algebra in 3rd grade-they all developed a strong foundation in mathematics, language, history, science and the arts! I highly recommend this school.

The teachers at Aquinas all have Bachelors, Masters of Education and AMI degrees. Most of them have had other work experiences that add to the richness of the classrooms. The Arts are a large part of the class curriculum; there is a musical produced every year as well as several concerts. The PE program follows the Presidential Physical Education Program. Yoga, piano and cello are offered after school. It was a very well rounded experience for my family. However, the high caliber of academics throughout the school was what attracted us and we were not disappointed.

I attended Aquinas from age 4-12. It was a very well rounded experience with opportunities for academic enrichment and creative learning. A school is what you are willing to put into it - and this group of people was willing to go the extra mile to make sure that every child met their potential. Most of my peers went to upper level Universities like V-Tech, UVA, Yale and William/Mary.

As a child who went through the whole program I have to say it was amazing. I have the best memories from this place. Academically I was always, and still am so far ahead of my peers. The things I learned even at the primary level have truly helped me not only learn in any type of environment but also understand what was going on.

My son now only 3 years old has had a remarkable progress. I feel very fortunate to have such an outstanding school so close to our home. My son will definitely continue his education at Montessori... Great job by the teachers and a better education than any public or day care in the area... has to be a number one choice for parents...

I have three children who all attended The Aquinas Montessori School from age 3-12. The experience was wonderful. The child-directed curriculum offered all of them the opportunity to develop a love of learning as well as strengthening their self awareness and self confidence. As graduates, they excelled in a traditional classroom and are very successful academically and personally. They are independent young adults who all hold jobs in addition to attending school and manage their finances and spending.

It is a very special place and my children each had a unique experience.

The teachers here are committed to teaching the whole child. Both my children flourished here both socially and academically. They both graduated from Aquinas and are doing extremely well at a classical high school with a demanding curriculum. At Aquinas they were instilled with a love for learning and the inner discipline to achieve success. The environment here gave them just enough structure and freedom to build their own self confidence without relying on arbitrary praise from the outside. Their strength was built from within. Not to mention the friendships they established. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't change a thing.

I was a student at Aquinas from preschool all the way through the elementary program. I loved every minute of it! I am still in contact with most of my teachers. It is a place where amazing memories are created and cherished for all time.

Since my children just started, it's too early to give a full review. Thus far, it's been a great experience and I adore the Montessori method (AMI), the teachers, and the staff. My children are excited to go to school and appear to be learning a great deal.

Aquinas offers Montessori up to age 12, so if you child thrives in Montessori school you can continue the education instead of matriculating into another private or public school.

This link shows a bionic Iron Man arm that Aquinas graduate, Evan Kuester (my son), designed and 3D-printed for a young boy who was missing an arm, and it was presented to the boy by Robert Downey Jr.;
Aquinas played a huge role in developing Evan's creativity and sense of social responsibility, not to mention his fascination with science. Evan was an Aquinas student through the 6th grade and he swears he learned more here than he has since.
